### The Opportunity

As a Product Manager at Electrum, you will shape the future of high-impact financial transaction processing. You will own the definition, design, and delivery of our **Value-Add Services (VAS)** roadmap, working hands-on with innovative, cloud-native software.

Collaborating closely with expert engineering, sales, and client-facing teams, you will tackle complex technical challenges and see your solutions directly enable critical daily services for millions of South Africans.

### The role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and technical software **Product Manager** with a strong focus on functional design. In this role, you will bridge the gap between deep technical execution and strategic business growth.

You will lead cross-functional alignment across two main fronts:

-   **Engineering Collaboration:** Partner deeply with backend and frontend engineering teams to translate roadmap vision into execution-ready functional designs.
-   **Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement:** Act as the product champion for Sales, Marketing, and Solution Architecture. You will join client consultations to untangle complex business needs and demonstrate how Electrum’s products solve real-world problems.

### Key Responsibilities

-   **Roadmap & Execution:** Own and execute the product lifecycle for key services within the VAS portfolio.
-   **Functional Design:** Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for engineering teams.
-   **Commercial Enablement:** Support the GTM team with strategic initiatives, product positioning, and high-touch client consultations.
-   C**ross-Functional Leadership:** Serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Sales, Client Service, Product Support, and Cloud Operations to ensure seamless product delivery and uptime.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce, or Finance, or the equivalent in working experience.
-   Minimum 4 years experience in the field of B2B SaaS services, ideally, with VAS or payments industry experience 
-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to confidently present to clients and convey complex technical concepts into business value.
-   Curious about technology and its application to payments and transaction processing.
