### About the Company

Our partner is a venture-backed AI SaaS company building operational infrastructure for home care, deploying AI agents that automate the back-office and care-delivery loop. The business is growing 30-40% month over month, is closing in on profitability, and is backed by top-tier investors.

### The Opportunity

This is the first go-to-market leadership hire, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the function end to end: building, hiring, ramping, and coaching a high-velocity SMB sales team while planning capacity as the organization scales.

This is a true player-coach seat. You will keep a small book of business and model the motion you build, partnering closely with a GTM Engineering team that automates and scales pipeline generation.

### Responsibilities

-   Build, hire, ramp, and coach a high-velocity SMB sales team.
-   Own the go-to-market motion end to end and design it for velocity.
-   Carry a small book of business as a player-coach.
-   Partner with GTM Engineering to automate and scale pipeline generation.
-   Own funnel math and metrics and drive predictable outcomes.
-   Plan hiring and capacity as the organization grows.

### Requirements

-   Proven track record building a high-velocity SMB sales motion.
-   Experience hiring, ramping, and coaching sales teams.
-   Strong quantitative and systems thinking.
-   Recent hands-on selling experience with a player-coach mentality.
-   Direct, low-ego, high-conviction leadership style.
-   Energized by AI and automation as go-to-market tools.
-   Based in or willing to relocate to New York City for onsite work.
