## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized **Bilingual Medical Scribe (Spanish/English)** with a strong background in **ophthalmology** to support providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with real-time (live) scribing and be comfortable working closely with doctors during patient visits.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide real-time (live) medical scribing during patient encounters in ophthalmology settings
-   Accurately document patient history, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR
-   Accompany physicians during consultations and exams, using an iPad for documentation
-   Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations
-   Assist with chart completion and workflow efficiency to support providers
-   Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
-   Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff

## Requirements

-   **Minimum 1 year of experience as a scribe or similar role in ophthalmology** is a MUST.
-   Bilingual proficiency in **Spanish and English (spoken and written)**
-   Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and multitask effectively
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

### Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $7 – $8 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM PST.
