\*\*Lead QA / Automation Tester\*\*

\*\*Project Details\*\*  
\- Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering based in Kuala Lumpur.  
\- Take ownership of designing and implementing the entire QA automation architecture and process flow from scratch.  
\- Your decisions will directly influence how the QA team ships, scales, and innovates.  
  
\*\*Key Responsibilities\*\*  
\- Implement QA automation practices, including tools, frameworks, architecture, automation, integrations, and processes.  
\- Analyse business objectives, prepare actionable plans, and identify areas for improvement.  
\- Coach and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance on test design, automation scripting, and troubleshooting.  
\- Drive innovation in testing processes by introducing new tools or methods to improve test effectiveness and reduce cycle time.  
  
\*\*Must-Have Qualifications\*\*  
\- Proven experience in a lead QA automation role.  
\- Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.  
\- Experience testing APIs, micro-services, and front-end applications.  
\- Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).  
\- Demonstrated experience in setting up a QA automation framework from the ground up.  
  
\*\*Nice to Have / Bonus\*\*  
\- Experience developing automated scripts for fintech products.  
\- Prior experience as a software engineer.

\- Head of Engineering has over 10 years of fintech experience.

\- Collaborate closely with existing manual testers in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, with potential to build and lead a team in the future.

\- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
