We are currently hiring dependable and hardworking **General Laborers** for a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This **General Laborer** position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, working in a team environment, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

The **General Laborer** will assist production teams, move materials, support assembly operations, maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, and help ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment with overtime opportunities available.

### General Laborer Responsibilities

-   Perform general manufacturing and production support duties as a **General Laborer**
-   Assist machine operators, assemblers, and production teams throughout the facility
-   Move materials, parts, containers, and products throughout the plant as a **General Laborer**
-   Load and unload production materials and components
-   Package finished products and prepare materials for shipping
-   Inspect parts and products for quality defects
-   Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards
-   Support assembly, sorting, stacking, labeling, and palletizing operations
-   Assist with production line changeovers and material replenishment
-   Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
-   Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
-   Perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-   Support warehouse and production operations as needed
-   Complete other duties assigned by production leadership

### General Laborer Qualifications

-   Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or **General Laborer** experience preferred
-   Ability to work in a high-volume production environment
-   Strong work ethic and dependable attendance required
-   Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
-   Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
-   Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
-   Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to safety
-   Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
-   Experience working in industrial or production environments preferred

### Preferred Experience

-   Manufacturing production experience
-   Assembly line experience
-   Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
-   Machine operating assistance
-   Packaging and palletizing experience
-   Automotive or Tier 1 supplier experience
-   Experience working in fast-paced industrial environments

### Available Shifts

-   1st Shift General Laborer
-   2nd Shift General Laborer
-   3rd Shift General Laborer

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on customer demand and production schedules.

### Physical Requirements

-   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
-   Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
-   Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions
-   Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions
