## Description

**Graduate FP&A Analyst**
**Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid – 2 days from home)**

**£30,000–£32,000**

(Internal job level reference: Senior Associate)

**Your numbers. Our growth story.**

Focus Group is a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology business, and right now our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team sits right at the heart of our next chapter. We're looking for a graduate who wants their analysis to actually shape decisions, not just sit in a spreadsheet.

You'll report to our FP&A Manager and get stuck into real business problems from day one. This is a graduate role built around real responsibility from the start — you'll be working with real data, real models, and real decisions.

**What you'll be doing:**

- Helping build the annual business plan, regular forecasts, and management reporting
- Delivering insight and analysis that helps the business hit its strategic goals
- Supporting commission management and analysis of commission systems
- Developing KPIs and metrics that track performance against strategy
- Driving scenario modelling and planning, including capex forecasting
- Extracting and combining data from multiple systems to build a clear picture
- Supporting wider projects across the finance function

**What you'll bring:**

- A strong degree with solid academic credentials
- Sharp analytical skills and the confidence to think independently
- Advanced Excel skills, ideally with some exposure to planning or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar)
- Genuine curiosity about how a business actually makes money, not just the numbers on a page
- Strong organisation skills to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
- The ability to explain complex analysis clearly, whether in writing, in a chart, or face to face
- A can-do attitude and ambition to build a career in finance

**Nice to have (not essential):**

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management or similar
- Previous experience in FP&A, M&A, transaction services, or strategy consulting
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualisation tools

**Why Focus Group?**
We're scaling quickly, backed by private equity, with acquisitions part of our ongoing growth story. That means real variety, real pace, and real opportunity to grow your career alongside the business. If you want a graduate role where your work is genuinely seen and used, this is it.

Let's connect. Let's grow.
