## Description

Position: Staff Accountant

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Full-Time, Remote Work.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Staff Accountant** to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing process improvements.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities.
-   Manage accounts payable (AP) posting and cash postings.
-   Prepare and post payroll journal entries.
-   Record and maintain accruals.
-   Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
-   Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
-   Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
-   Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
-   3–5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
-   Strong experience with:

-   Accounts Payable (AP)
-   Cash postings
-   Payroll journal entries
-   Accruals
-   Account reconciliations
-   Financial statement review

-   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
-   **Sage Intacct experience is a strict requirement.**
-   Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
-   Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accounting processes.
