**Our client is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team in New London, CT.**

**Schedule: 1st shift (Monday-Friday)**

**Starting Rate: $19.00-$21.00/Hr.**

**Warehouse Associate Job Summary**: This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

**Warehouse Associate Key Responsibilities:**

-   Perform inbound and outbound freight handling including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
-   Accurately pick, pack, and distribute sales orders and transfers
-   Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy reporting
-   Operate warehouse tools and material handling equipment safely while following standard operating procedures and PPE requirements
-   Load, unload, move, and stock materials efficiently while ensuring proper documentation with bills of lading
-   Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report any hazards promptly

**Warehouse Associate Qualifications:**

-   High school diploma or GED equivalent
-   At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or a related field
-   Strong aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis

**Physical Demands:**

-   Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 100 lbs., and pushing or pulling loads up to 300 lbs.
-   Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment for extended periods (up to 6 hours per day)
-   Regular bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and sustained use of hands, arms, and feet
-   Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift
