### About the Role

Beachside Golf Cars is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead the overall performance and daily operations of one of our retail locations. As the leader of the store, the General Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, developing the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This role oversees all aspects of the dealership, including Sales, Service, Parts, Rentals, Inventory, Delivery, and local marketing execution. The General Manager is the primary owner of store performance and is accountable for achieving company goals through strong leadership, operational discipline, and team development.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and understands how to build a high-performing team.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

### Store Leadership & Operations

-   Own the overall performance, profitability, and daily operations of the store
-   Lead all departments including Sales, Service, Parts, Rentals, Inventory, and Delivery
-   Create accountability across all teams to achieve company goals
-   Establish a culture focused on performance, customer experience, and continuous improvement
-   Ensure company processes and standards are followed consistently

### Sales Performance & Revenue Growth

-   Drive new and used golf cart sales performance
-   Monitor sales activity, close rates, gross profit, and accessory penetration
-   Ensure strong lead response times and disciplined follow-up processes
-   Review deals for profitability and proper structure
-   Coach sales team members to improve performance and maximize opportunities

### Service & Parts Management

-   Oversee service department performance and customer satisfaction
-   Ensure efficient workflow, technician productivity, and timely completion of repairs
-   Monitor service profitability and upselling opportunities
-   Maintain accurate parts inventory and departmental organization
-   Promote strong communication between sales and service teams

### Inventory Management

-   Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting
-   Manage pricing strategy and inventory movement
-   Monitor aging inventory and develop plans to maximize turn rates
-   Evaluate used units and trade-ins to protect profitability
-   Ensure showroom and lot presentation meet company standards

### CRM & Customer Experience

-   Ensure every customer interaction is properly documented in the CRM
-   Maintain accurate customer information including name, phone number, and email
-   Enforce lead follow-up standards and pipeline management
-   Ensure customers receive a professional experience from first contact through delivery

### Marketing & Local Business Growth

-   Oversee local marketing execution and inventory promotion
-   Ensure online listings are accurate, updated, and professionally presented
-   Manage platforms such as Facebook Marketplace and other sales channels
-   Support local events, partnerships, and community growth opportunities

### Team Development & Hiring

-   Recruit, train, coach, and develop store employees
-   Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable
-   Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
-   Build a positive, motivated, and competitive store culture

### Financial Management

-   Understand and manage store financial performance
-   Drive revenue growth while protecting gross margins
-   Monitor payroll efficiency and operating expenses
-   Identify opportunities to improve profitability

### Qualifications

-   Prior leadership experience managing a retail, dealership, automotive, powersports, RV, marine, or similar operation
-   Experience managing both sales and service operations preferred
-   Strong understanding of revenue, gross profit, inventory, and expense management
-   Proven ability to lead and develop teams
-   Strong organizational and communication skills
-   Experience using CRM systems and managing sales processes
-   Ability to work weekends and retail hours as needed
-   Results-driven mindset with strong accountability
