## Description

We're looking for a new Senior Estimator to join our Estimating team here at AVK. The role will play a key role in the estimating function across complex and high-value projects. It provides strategic cost advice, manages estimating deliverables, and ensures commercial integrity throughout the pre-construction phase.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**  

-   Own all estimating documentation and ensure quality control 
-   Lead tender meetings and sign-off processes 
-   Deliver accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions 
-   Develop pricing strategies and oversee bid preparation 
-   Review project documents to ensure compliance and identify risks 
-   Maintain reliable cashflow forecasts 
-   Coordinate inputs from supply chain and internal teams 
-   Advise clients on procurement, risk, and estimating strategy 
-   Act as a client-facing lead throughout the estimating process 
-   Drive improvements in estimating tools and processes 
-   Mentor junior team members 
-   Ensure outputs meet client expectations and deadlines 
-   Champion use of cost databases and benchmarking 
-   Build supply chain relationships and gather market intelligence 

**Skills and Experience**  

-   Extensive experience in estimating across sectors and project types 
-   Strong commercial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail 
-   Proficient in Microsoft 365 software 
-   Excellent communication and leadership abilities 
-   Proven track record of delivering multiple high-quality estimates under pressure
