You’ll act as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results. **What You’ll Be Doing** **Operations & Execution** - Ensure smooth, efficient operations aligned with brand standards - Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement - Deliver consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment **Guest Experience** - Deliver exceptional service rooted in passion for hospitality - Anticipate needs and respond with a solutions-first mindset - Create memorable, personalized experiences for every guest **Team Collaboration** - Work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals - Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment - Support a culture of respect, energy, and accountability **Compliance & Standards** - Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures - Maintain accuracy in processes, reporting, and documentation - Uphold a culture of accountability and operational excellence **Responsibilities** - Assist with **setting up and breaking down banquet bars**, including portable bars, equipment, and supplies. - Stock and replenish **beverages, ice, glassware, mixers, garnishes, napkins, and bar supplies** throughout events. - Assist bartenders with **garnish preparation, mixers, glassware, and other service needs**. - Maintain **clean, organized, and sanitary** bar and service areas before, during, and after events. - Collect and remove **used glassware, empty bottles, trash, and other items** from bar and banquet areas. - Retrieve, transport, and properly store **beverages, ice, glassware, equipment, and supplies**. - Follow **BEOs, hotel standards, safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and responsible alcohol-service policies**. - Support bartenders and banquet team members in providing **efficient, professional, and guest-focused service** during events. ## Requirements - Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail - Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Technical / Role-Specific Requirements** - Previous **hotel, banquet, restaurant, or bar support experience** preferred. - Knowledge of basic **bar operations**, including stocking, replenishment, and bar setup. - Ability to **set up and break down banquet bars** according to event requirements and hotel standards. - Ability to stock and replenish **liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies** throughout events. - Assist bartenders with **garnish preparation, mixers, glassware, and other service needs**. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of **bars, portable bars, beverage equipment, storage areas, and surrounding service areas**. - Ability to **transport and handle ice, beverage cases, bottles, glassware, carts, and equipment**, including lifting and carrying up to approximately 50 lbs. - Strong attention to detail when following **Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)** and event setup specifications. - Ability to work efficiently in a **fast-paced, high-volume banquet environment** while maintaining service standards. - Strong **teamwork and communication skills** when working with bartenders, banquet servers, culinary, stewarding, and other hotel departments. - Ability to maintain a **clean, organized, and properly stocked work area** throughout the event. - Follow all **hotel safety, sanitation, food handling, and alcohol-service procedures**. - Food Handler Card and/or applicable **alcohol awareness certification** preferred or required as applicable. - Ability to work a **flexible schedule**, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying banquet event times. - Professional appearance and ability to provide **courteous, guest-focused service** in an upscale hotel environment. - Ability to remain on feet and **walk, stand, bend, lift, push, and pull** for extended periods during events. - Must demonstrate care when handling **hotel property, glassware, equipment, and beverage products** to minimize breakage and loss. ## Benefits At **Millennium Hotels & Resorts**, we support our employees with benefits designed to promote wellbeing and long-term success. **Benefits for this position are provided in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).** Employees should refer to the applicable CBA for details regarding eligibility, coverage, paid time off, employee discounts, and other benefit offerings.
