## Description

Ready to be part of something big? At KRUSH Labs, a privately owned R&D center, we push the boundaries of unmanned systems and advanced hardware. We’re building next-generation platforms that fuse resilient communications, AI-driven autonomy, and precision navigation, designed to perform in the most demanding real-world environments. Join us to tackle complex challenges, turn cutting-edge research into deployed technology, and help shape the future of autonomous systems!

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to establish and lead the operational framework of our innovative R&D-focused high-tech company. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the company has clear, scalable, and well-defined processes, policies, and controls across key operational areas, including IT, security, legal, compliance, finance, procurement, and facilities. You will work closely with leadership, internal teams, and external specialists to ensure that operational standards are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved as the company grows.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and establish the company’s operational framework, ensuring clear processes, policies, responsibilities, and decision-making structures across key support functions.
- Establish and maintain operational policies and procedures covering IT, information security, legal, compliance, finance, procurement, facilities, and business continuity.
- Act as the operational owner responsible for ensuring that critical processes and controls are properly implemented, documented, maintained, and regularly reviewed.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external specialists across Legal, Finance, IT, Security, HR, and other support functions to ensure effective execution and alignment.
- Identify operational, compliance, security, and business risks, establish appropriate controls, and ensure mitigation actions are implemented and followed through.
- Ensure appropriate processes are in place for IT access, equipment, systems, data protection, security, onboarding/offboarding, and business continuity.
- Establish clear workflows and approval processes for finance, procurement, contracts, vendors, expenses, and other administrative operations.
- Oversee and coordinate facilities, workplace infrastructure, suppliers, and other operational services to ensure an effective and reliable working environment.
- Implement operational reporting frameworks, KPIs, and regular reviews, providing leadership with clear visibility into operational performance, risks, gaps, and priorities.
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes and policies, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and ensuring agreed actions are implemented.
- Support the leadership team in translating business and strategic priorities into clear operational plans, processes, and execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, General Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in operations, business operations, general management, or similar cross-functional roles, preferably within high-growth technology, engineering, manufacturing, or R&D-driven environments.
- Proven experience establishing and implementing operational processes, policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Experience working across multiple functions such as IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and Facilities.
- Strong understanding of operational risk management, internal controls, compliance, and business continuity.
- Experience managing external service providers, consultants, vendors, and other operational partners.
- Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from identifying a gap through implementation and follow-up.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of budgeting, procurement, financial controls, and operational reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace and business systems; experience with ERP, HRIS, ITSM, or other operational platforms is a plus.

**Skills & Abilities Required:**

- Strong operational leadership and proven ability to establish structure and scalable operating processes in fast-growing environments.
- Highly structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to create effective processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and specialists without direct ownership of every function.
- Strong risk awareness and ability to identify operational, compliance, security, and business continuity risks and establish appropriate controls.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on execution and follow-through.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior leadership, functional teams, employees, and external partners.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- A positive mindset and people-oriented work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and constantly evolving R&D environment.
