**Job Summary**

**Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.**

-   Sit-down propane forklift experience

## Requirements

_**Duties & Responsibilities Information:**_

-   Ensures workstations meet all safety, 1+5S and TPM requirements by being actively involved with the assessment of all workstations per Quality and 1+5S guidelines
-   Reviews all Method Sheets that apply to work performed within the department and facilitates training of all employees per proper Method Sheets and Training Procedures with HR
-   Facilitates proper scanning of work orders within the Oracle Production System to ensure accurate production reporting and inventory; ensures all rework tickets are filled out and turned in to the proper department
-   Influences team members by displaying a positive proactive work ethic that sets the standards for maintaining a safe, productive work environment while setting and maintaining high quality standards and striving for continuous improvement
-   Functions as a working production team member as needed
-   Maintains First5 Boards and conducts First5 Meeting in Supervisors absence
-   Facilitates and helps maintain all lean enterprise initiatives, 1+5S, TPM, VSM requirements
-   Signs off on all completed department outbound production prior to movement to the next level of production
-   Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
