## Description

-   Execute maintenance on various military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technician
-   Travel for extended periods working at various locations
-   Train on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks
-   Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings
-   Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
-   Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned
-   Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures
-   Maintain tool control and accountability
-   Adhere to company policies and safety programs
-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

**Education/Training:** 

-   High School diploma required
-   Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
-   Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required

**Experience:**

-   3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required  
-   Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements
-   Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems
-   Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.​

**Security:**

-   Must be a US citizen
-   Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
-   Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)
