**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who brings the same precision to numbers that we bring to health data. You’ll own the full accounting function from Greek GAAP financials and tax compliance to payroll and cash flow while helping shape the finance infrastructure of a fast-growing company.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

-   Own the full accounting cycle: AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close
-   Maintain double-entry (Category C/ Γ’ κατηγορίας) accounting books and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with ΕΛΠ (Ν.4308/2014) and, where applicable, IFRS
-   Manage all Greek tax obligations: VAT (including VIES & Intrastat), withholding taxes, corporate income tax (E3, E2, N forms) and submit all filings via TAXIS, keeping e-books up to date in myDATA
-   Run payroll and manage social security contributions through EFKA and ERGANI
-   Monitor and forecast cash flow and working capital to support management decisions
-   Coordinate internal and external audit processes; serve as the primary contact for auditors
-   Mentor and support junior accounting staff
-   Stay ahead of changes in Greek tax legislation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

## Requirements

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

-   5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a Greek operating environment
-   MSc in Accounting, Finance, or an MBA
-   Deep expertise in Greek GAAP (ΕΛΠ / N.4308/2014), Income Tax Code (ΚΦΕ / N.4172/2013) and Tax Procedure Code (ΚΦΔ / N.4174/2013)
-   Proven experience with myDATA e-books, TAXIS declarations and ERGANI submissions
-   Solid understanding of VAT mechanics including VIES, Intrastat, and reverse-charge rules
-   Hands-on ERP experience: Epsilon Net extra accounting software, Epsilon Payroll software or equivalent
-   Advanced Excel skills; comfortable building and maintaining financial models
-   Strong written and verbal communication in both Greek and English
-   Structured thinker with sharp attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
-   Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
-   Experience with IFRS reporting and/or group consolidation
-   Background in companies with international operations or cross-border VAT complexity
