### The Role

Simply.TV is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR / Sales Hunter) to drive new business pipelines across the United States, with a focus on Tier 3 and smaller Tier 2 customers, while identifying and qualifying larger Tier 1 and Tier 2 opportunities for our senior sales team.

This is a true hunter role, focused on cold start and building a pipeline from scratch. You will be responsible for opening doors, generating qualified opportunities, and creating momentum in new accounts using modern sales approaches, including automation and AI-driven tools.

You will play a key role in building a strong, consistent pipeline that supports Simply.TV’s continued growth in the US market.

Responsibilities

**What you will own:**

-   Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across Tier 3 and smaller Tier 2 accounts
-   Identify, engage, and qualify larger Tier 1 and Tier 2 opportunities, ensuring smooth handoff to senior sales team
-   Execute outbound prospecting strategies with a strong focus on cold outreach and pipeline generation
-   Leverage automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies to drive efficiency and scale outreach
-   Engage prospects and qualify opportunities based on business needs, use cases, and fit with Simply.TV solutions
-   Consistently generate high-quality meetings and opportunities for the commercial team
-   Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and CRM hygiene
-   Act as a commercial ambassador for Simply.TV in the US market

## Requirements

**You'll thrive in this role if you have:**

-   3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on outbound / hunter roles
-   Experience in inbound sales (required); experience in outbound sales(preferred)
-   Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch and consistently generate qualified opportunities
-   Experience with cold start environments and creating opportunities where none exist
-   Experience using automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies
-   Experience in the TV supplier industry is highly preferred, especially within metadata, content discovery, or related media/streaming environments
-   Strong understanding of how to engage and qualify mid-market and enterprise customers
-   Strong CRM discipline (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
-   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and qualify stakeholders
-   High degree of autonomy, ownership, and resilience in a target-driven environment
-   Have worked before in the TV and Video technology supplier industry with good contacts to potential customers such as TV operators, broadcasters, streamers and connected TV manufactures
-   Deep understanding of the TV and video streaming industry and why metadata is key to unlock a better product experience

**Practicalities**

-   **Location:** USA – Remote (with **hybrid option for candidates based in Dallas)**.

## Benefits

-   Collaboration is based on a full-time employee setup, with a base salary of $65,000–$85,000 USD per year, plus commissions.
