## Description

A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible, Board-Certifiable, **or Board-Certified Otolaryngologist** to join a collaborative medical team providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. This opportunity offers a balanced practice with both outpatient and surgical responsibilities in a supportive healthcare environment.

### Position Overview

The Otolaryngologist will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The physician will work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to provide patient-centered care and, when necessary, surgical treatment.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and treat disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures
-   Perform surgical procedures related to ENT conditions
-   Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
-   Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
-   Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care
-   Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care
-   Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
-   Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

## Requirements

### General Requirements

-   Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in **Otolaryngology**
-   Completion of an accredited residency program in otolaryngology
-   Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license
-   Strong clinical and surgical skills
-   Excellent communication and patient care abilities
-   Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
