## Description

The Supply Chain Manager owns procurement outcomes for assigned business units, execution of procurement strategies, governance oversight, supplier performance, people management within the Centralised Procurement Hub, and the successful transformation and migration of business units into the Centralised Procurement Hub model. The role also serves as the primary link between stakeholders and Purchase Officers, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and timely resolution of procurement-related matters.

**Objective**

The primary objective of the role is to deliver consistent procurement service quality, enhance spend visibility and control, improve planning and forecasting, support the scalability of procurement operations as the fleet grows, lead the transformation of business units into the Centralised Procurement Hub, and ensure effective coordination between stakeholders and Purchase Officers to achieve operational excellence.

ROLES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**

-   Lead the transformation and onboarding of assigned business units into the Centralised Procurement Hub, ensuring smooth transition, stakeholder engagement, change management, and operational readiness.
-   Develop and execute transition plans, governance frameworks, communication strategies, and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of the Centralised Procurement Hub operating model.
-   Own procurement performance and outcomes for assigned business units, fleets, or categories within the Procurement Hub model.
-   Define, implement, and continuously improve procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and fleet requirements.
-   Provide governance oversight to ensure compliance with sourcing policies, contracts, audit requirements, and risk controls.
-   Lead supplier strategy, including performance management, relationship governance, and long-term value creation.
-   Monitor procurement KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards, driving corrective actions and performance improvements where required.
-   Act as the senior interface with Fleet Managers, Managing Directors, Finance, Agency Hubs, and other key stakeholders.
-   Drive process optimisation, standardisation, digital adoption, and scalability initiatives across procurement operations.
-   Lead, coach, and manage procurement teams, including performance management, capability building, and succession planning.
-   Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning through data-driven insights and procurement intelligence.
-   Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the Supply Chain function.

**KEY SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:**

**Technical Skills**

-   Strategic sourcing and supplier management within marine procurement
-   Expert-level product knowledge – Marine procurement across fleet categories
-   Advanced data analytics for spend visibility, forecasting, and KPI tracking
-   Executive-level use of Excel and PowerPoint for business reviews and leadership reporting
-   Governance, audit readiness, and contract management oversight

**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :**

-   10+ Years (Marine Procurement – Purchasing Operations)
-   Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or related field
