## Description

**About the Role** We are seeking a commercially minded and locally connected Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager to help grow MOOMOO ANZ’s presence in the Australian financial content and ecosystem landscape. This role will focus on identifying, building, and scaling strategic partnerships across financial media, creator networks, professional communities, and ecosystem partners to strengthen MOOMOO ANZ’s brand, audience reach, and long-term market positioning.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the local financial services landscape, content and creator ecosystems, and partnership-led growth. They should also have a strong sense of brand judgment and compliance awareness, particularly around ASIC expectations for financial content and finfluencer-related risk.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships across the Australian financial ecosystem, including media, creators, communities, and professional networks.
-   Build relationships with local finance creators, podcast hosts, newsletter publishers, media partners, and community builders.
-   Develop partnership initiatives that support brand growth, audience engagement, and long-term ecosystem development.
-   Work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, compliance, product, and leadership teams to ensure partnerships are commercially strong and regulatorily sound.
-   Assess partnership opportunities with a strong understanding of ASIC-related risks, especially around financial promotions, finfluencer activity, and consumer-facing financial content.
-   Support the development of content-led partnership ideas, co-marketing opportunities, and community activation strategies.
-   Build and maintain high-quality networks across SMSF, accountant, founder, young professional, university, and mainstream finance communities.
-   Represent the brand externally in a way that strengthens credibility, trust, and long-term market presence.
-   Track partnership performance, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to broader ecosystem strategy.
-   Support ad hoc projects related to local market development, strategic alliances, and brand partnerships.

## Requirements

-   5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, ecosystem roles, community growth, media partnerships, or related commercial roles.
-   Background in Australian fintech, wealth, financial services, financial media, creator economy, or education-led platforms strongly preferred.
-   Strong understanding of the local financial services landscape and the ability to navigate brand, audience, and regulatory considerations.
-   Experience working with content, media, creator, or community ecosystems will be highly regarded.
-   Demonstrated ability to build relationships with external partners and operate across multiple stakeholder groups.
-   Commercially minded with strong brand judgment and a long-term partnership mindset.
-   Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and balancing commercial goals with compliance awareness.
-   Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Chinese language capability is a plus.
-   Based in Sydney and well connected within local finance, media, or professional communities preferred.
