## Description

Charleys Cheesesteaks is looking for a driven and experienced General Manager to lead restaurant operations, build a strong team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, training, sales performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Overview:**  
As General Manager, you will lead the overall success of the restaurant by managing daily operations, developing team members, controlling costs, and ensuring guests receive high-quality food and service. You will be accountable for driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction
-   Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members and management staff
-   Lead, coach, and hold the team accountable for performance and service standards
-   Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of financial and operational goals
-   Manage labor, food cost, inventory, and other controllable expenses
-   Ensure food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness meet Charleys standards
-   Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with a customer-first approach
-   Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
-   Create and manage team schedules based on business needs
-   Monitor store performance and implement action plans for improvement
-   Ensure proper cash handling, reporting, and daily financial accountability
-   Maintain a positive work environment focused on teamwork, urgency, and excellence
-   Oversee opening and closing procedures and overall store readiness

## Requirements

### **Required Skills and Qualifications:**

-   Proven experience as a General Manager or in a leadership role in the food service or retail industry.
-   Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
-   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
-   Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
-   Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
-   Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling standards.
