## Description

**Westview International Language School is** seeking a qualified and experienced German Teacher/Head of Department (HOD) for the academic year 26-27. This leadership role involves overseeing the German language department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and curriculum development, and guiding a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Lead and manage the German language department, including curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.
-   Teach German language classes, fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students.
-   Support and mentor teaching staff within the department to enhance instructional quality and professional growth.
-   Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and academic performance in German language studies.
-   Coordinate departmental meetings, liaise with school management, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
-   Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes, educational trends, and best practices in language teaching.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree or higher in German Language, Education, or a related field.
-   Proven experience in teaching German and in a leadership role, preferably as a Head of Department.
-   Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
-   Ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
-   Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques.
-   Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
