## Description

**1st shift**

**$18-20/hr**

**SOLAR SHADE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:**

We are hiring a Solar Shade Fabrication Assistant to join our team! You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Assemble retractable solar shades according to company specifications and engineering drawings.
-   Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
-   Measure, cut, and weld/attach fabric, tubing and hardware with precision
-   Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment
-   Attention to detail, specifically accurate measurements and product quality
-   Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
-   Adhere to safety policies and procedures

**Qualifications:**

-   Measure with multiple tools, including tape measure, accurately(to the 16th or smaller)
-   Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings preferred but not required.
-   Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment preferred but not required.
-   Ability to handle physical workload and lift 50+ lbs.
-   Basic mathematic skills
