## Description

99Bright Minds is looking for a Quality Control & Quality Assurance Specialist to lead manual and automated testing and ensure software quality across the full development lifecycle.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Lead End-to-End Testing:** Design, plan and oversee manual and automated testing strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements.
-   **Automation & Manual Testing:** Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, and perform meticulous manual testing to uncover hard-to-find bugs and edge cases.
-   **Bug Identification & Reporting:** Find, document and track defects with exceptional attention to detail.
-   **Quality Leadership:** Serve as the senior point of contact for quality, leading QA engineers and analysts in testing best practices and continuous improvement.
-   **Client Engagement:** Lead client discussions on quality standards, test results and defect management.
-   **Test Strategy & Planning:** Build risk-based testing approaches, regression plans and automation coverage.
-   **Collaboration & Mentorship:** Work with developers, BAs and PMs, and mentor junior QA staff.
-   **Continuous Improvement:** Adopt new testing tools and methodologies.

**Requirements**

-   3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and quality control
-   Proven expertise in manual and automated testing, with hands-on automation frameworks
-   Ability to design and execute test plans, test cases and regression suites for complex systems
-   Strong track record of identifying and documenting critical bugs and edge cases
-   Experience leading and mentoring QA teams in Agile or hybrid environments
-   Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders
-   Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools
-   Advanced knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages
-   Experience with version control; CI/CD and DevOps familiarity is a plus
-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field

**Nice to have:** Experience in regulated industries or enterprise projects; performance, security or usability testing.
