## Description

The **Senior Manager – Commercial (Baby & Elderly Care)** is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution for the Baby & Elderly Care **category**. This role ensures cost optimisation, quality compliance, and supplier partnerships to drive category growth and profitability.

**1\. Category Strategy & Planning**

-   Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives.
-   Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
-   Lead strategic sourcing processes, including supplier segmentation and negotiations.

**2\. Supplier Management**

-   Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
-   Negotiate trade terms and annual contracts to optimise cost and service levels.
-   Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

**3\. Financial & Performance Management**

-   Monitor sales, margin, and other income against budget (MTD/YTD).
-   Prepare business reports and analyze category performance vs. market benchmarks.
-   Drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain profitability targets.

**4\. Product Development & Commercialization**

-   Collaborate with marketing and operations to launch new products and promotions.
-   Ensure assortment and pricing strategies meet customer needs and business goals.

**5\. Cross-Functional Leadership**

-   Work closely with supply chain, finance, QA, and merchandising teams for end-to-end execution.
-   Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver category objectives.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
-   8–10 years’ experience in FMCG, retail, or non-food categories; experience in personal care preferred.
-   Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
-   Knowledge of sustainability and food safety standards.
-   Good command of English communication skills.
