- Support Marketing, RevOps and other internal functions with legal advice and guidance
- Manage and advise on compliance with Privacy and GDPR frameworks
- Understand, interpret and apply current laws to Propeller’s global operations and workforce
- Handle or oversee legal disputes, including potential litigation or alternative dispute resolution
- Stay vigilant and attuned to the evolving legal landscape. Keep your finger on the pulse of changing laws and regulatory requirements, and swiftly implement strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Help shape and scale a growing legal function by improving processes, supporting business enablement, and balancing commercial outcomes with risk management

## Requirements

- Law degree, current Practising Certificate, and minimum 5 years’ PQE
- Prior in-house experience, ideally in a venture-backed technology or SaaS business
- Prior experience in high value complex commercial transactions - international and cross-border experience a plus
- Experience or interest in GDPR including its principles, key provisions, and its impact on data protection and privacy
- Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance landscape for AI tools and technologies in SaaS services and experience using AI in your day-to-day work
- Pragmatic judgement, strong negotiation skills, and confidence making calls in ambiguous situations
- Clear communicator and collaborative problem-solver, able to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders

_Bonus points for:_

- Venture capital fundraising and capital markets
- Working in a global company
- Supporting a board of directors - governance, secretariat etc.
