## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Murex Technical Consultant** to join our Capital Markets Technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Murex architecture, development, and technical integration within a front-to-back trade processing environment. You will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and implementing Murex-based solutions across various asset classes, while ensuring system integrity, performance, and scalability.

### **Murex Development & Integration**

-   Develop and customize Murex modules (MXML, Datamart, workflows, feeders, interfaces).
-   Implement enhancements and customizations in Murex workflows to support new business requirements.
-   Create and maintain Murex APIs and custom modules for system integration.
-   Design and implement interfaces between Murex and external/internal systems (e.g., downstream risk, finance, and accounting systems).
-   Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place for Murex infrastructure.

### **Technical Support & Environment Management**

-   Provide L2/L3 support for Murex-related incidents and issues.
-   Monitor and optimize Murex application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis.
-   Manage Murex environments (DEV, UAT, PROD) including patching, release, and environment refresh activities.

### **DevOps, CI/CD & Automation**

-   Work closely with DevOps teams to automate builds, deployments, and environment provisioning.
-   Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements to facilitate faster and safer Murex code deployments.

### **Stakeholder Management**

-   Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Project Managers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
-   Work directly with traders, risk managers, and operations users to understand support issues and deliver quick solutions.

### **Key Skills and Qualifications:**

### **Technical Skills:**

-   Strong experience with **Murex 3.x** platform (front office, back office, risk modules).
-   Proficiency in **MXML**, **Datamart reporting**, **workflow configuration**, and **script writing**.
-   Strong hands-on knowledge of **UNIX/Linux**, **Shell scripting**, and **SQL** (Oracle/Sybase).
-   Experience integrating Murex with upstream/downstream systems using **Java**, **Python**, or **C**.
-   Familiarity with trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes (FX, IRD, EQD, Fixed Income, Commodities).
