## Description

Living Things is one of the fastest-growing drinks brands in the UK, with listings in every major grocer, the best independents, and 20+ international markets. We're less than three years into our mission to make soft drinks that are delicious and guilt-free and we're growing our team.

We're looking for a Finance & Credit Control Manager to take ownership of our core finance operations and build one of the UK's defining consumer brands. You'll manage our accountants, run credit control, and oversee our trade debt facilities. Your priority will be making sure cash is well managed, customers pay on time, and our funding lines are used effectively. It's a broad role with real responsibility, ideal for someone who's comfortable getting into the detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

We're open to considering this role on a part-time basis for the right person.

### What you'll do

- Manage our external accountants and bookkeeping team, ensuring accurate, timely records and a smooth month-end close.
- Own credit control end to end — managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding invoices, and keeping debtor days under control.
- Manage our trade debt / invoice finance facilities, including drawdowns, reconciliations, reporting to funders, and making sure we get the most from our funding lines.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash flow forecasting, and day-to-day cash management.
- Support monthly management accounts, budgeting, and reporting to the leadership team.
- Improve and tighten financial processes and controls as the business scales.

## Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within an SME, scale-up, or FMCG/drinks environment.
- Solid experience of credit control and cash management.
- Familiarity with trade debt, invoice finance, or asset-based lending facilities is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing or coordinating accountants / bookkeepers.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting software (Xero preferred).
- Part or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA), or qualified by experience.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.

### Nice to have

- Experience in a food & beverage, consumer goods, or high-growth startup setting.
- Exposure to setting up or improving finance processes and controls from the ground up.

## Benefits

- The chance to own and shape the finance function of a growing drinks brand.
- A collaborative, ambitious team and a genuine seat at the table.
- Flexible, hybrid working from our London base.
- Flexibility on hours — full-time or part-time considered.
