### **HC Truck Driver | Metroll Toowoomba**

Metroll Toowoomba is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused **HC Truck Driver** to join our operations team.

Metroll manufactures and distributes high-quality metal building products and accessories to the commercial and residential construction industries across Australia. **About the role**

Reporting to the Despatch Manager, you will be responsible for deliveries throughout the Toowoomba region and surrounding regional areas. This role offers a mix of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on operational support.

Standard working hours are approximately **6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday**, with overtime opportunities available.

**Key duties**

-   Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers
-   Assist with checking loads for accuracy and secure tie-down
-   Operate a Hiab crane to unload products where required (training provided)
-   Utilise systems to capture proof of delivery (POD)
-   Complete daily pre-start vehicle and safety checks
-   Support the wider operations team with alternate duties when required

**What we’re looking for**

-   Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence
-   Strong focus on safety and customer service
-   Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
-   Good time management and communication skills
-   Forklift licence and/or Hiab crane experience advantageous but not essential
-   Reliable, punctual, and willing to assist across operations when needed
