## Description

**Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services.** We are seeking a dependable and motivated **Sprinkler Apprentice** to assist with fire sprinkler system inspections, maintenance, and service projects. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced sprinkler technicians while developing knowledge of sprinkler systems and related equipment.

**Responsibilities**

-   Complete weekly inspections of onsite fire sprinkler control valves.
-   Check and record water pressure readings from system gauges.
-   Exercise PIVs and underground valves monthly to help maintain proper operation.
-   Maintain accurate weekly and monthly inspection records and reports.
-   Use basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel to document and organize inspection information.
-   Assist sprinkler technicians onsite with service calls, repairs, and project work.
-   Help identify and report potential sprinkler system service issues.
-   Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional, reliable presence onsite.

## Requirements

-   Willingness to learn the fire sprinkler industry and develop technical skills.
-   Basic computer skills.
-   Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
-   Ability to complete paperwork and maintain accurate records.
-   Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
-   Ability to work outdoors and in various onsite environments.
-   Previous sprinkler, construction, mechanical, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.
