**POSITION SUMMARY**

Responsible for maintaining and creating production routings and bills of material from engineering documentation. Plans the material flow, labor, and tooling requirements for new and existing products.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**

-   Interpret engineering release by implementing Engineering Change Orders and Notices (ECO, ECN), and Engineering Authorized Deviations (EAD).
-   Create production routings with estimated labor times for fabricated parts, assemblies, and installations (as applicable).
-   Calculate raw material usage for new fabricated parts (where applicable).
-   Update production routings of component parts and sub-assemblies.
-   Provide new design and contract support. Completes required tasks for new contract readiness such as CFA level routings, bill split and reconciliation, structure kit routings and install hours reconciliation.
-   Load and revise standard estimating data.
-   Complete and maintain manufacturing bill for sales releases.
-   Create and distribute drawing packages for shop floor.
-   Complete identified process planning audit and output reports.
-   Interpret and complete Planning Change Requests (PCR)
-   Communicates with manufacturing engineering, production, inventory control, purchasing and production control planning to ensure implementation of engineering changes.
-   Provide bid & sales release customer request (SRCR) labor estimates as requested.
-   Attend and participate in process improvement projects.
-   Assist in resolution of MRP processing errors.
-   Attend virtual reviews as required.
-   Support manufacturing engineering and production engineering.
-   Support other related process planning tasks as needed.
-   Participate in SWAT meetings and action open SWAT issues as required.
-   Conduct process observations (as assigned).
-   Support and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives as required.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:**

-   Post-secondary degree in engineering or technology or equivalent manufacturing process planning experience, EIT certification preferred
-   APICS or CPIM certification preferred.
-   Experience in labor and materials planning in an MRO environment.
-   Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
-   Be able to travel up to 25% of the time to US
