### **About the Role: Housekeeping Supervisor**

As our **Housekeeping Supervisor**, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience of the hotel. You will support daily housekeeping operations, ensure service standards are consistently met, and help foster a collaborative, efficient, and engaged team environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for hospitality, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead with accountability in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a **union hotel environment** is highly preferred.

### **Your Impact**

You will lead day-to-day housekeeping operations, support team performance, and ensure cleanliness and service standards are consistently delivered. You’ll serve as a key link between management and frontline team members—driving accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

### **What You’ll Be Doing**

### **Operations & Execution**

-   Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, and productivity tracking
-   Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently meet cleanliness and brand standards
-   Monitor staffing levels and workflow to support efficient operations and timely room readiness
-   Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and service delivery

### **Guest Experience**

-   Help deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment
-   Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery needs
-   Ensure housekeeping standards support overall guest satisfaction and brand expectations

### **Team Leadership & Collaboration**

-   Supervise, coach, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and housekeeping employees
-   Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback
-   Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
-   Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to support hotel operations

### **Union & Labor Relations**

-   Support daily operations in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements, work rules, and labor practices
-   Maintain positive working relationships with union employees and representatives
-   Ensure scheduling, assignments, breaks, and work practices align with union requirements and company policies

## Requirements

-   Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

### **Leadership Requirements**

-   Proven supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related service environment
-   Ability to drive team performance, accountability, and employee engagement in a fast-paced setting
-   Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
-   Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage workflow, and maintain operational standards under pressure
-   Demonstrated ability to lead by example while fostering a positive and productive team culture

### **Technical / Role-Specific Requirements**

-   Minimum **2–3 years of housekeeping experience**, with prior supervisory experience preferred
-   **Union hotel experience strongly preferred**, including familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and union work rules
-   Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, inspection standards, and productivity expectations
-   Experience with housekeeping systems, room assignment tools, or hotel property management systems is a plus
-   Ability to train, coach, and develop team members to meet service and quality standards
-   Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on operational needs

### **Education**

-   High school diploma or equivalent required
