## Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a **Credit Controller** for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

-   Proactively chase overdue invoices and outstanding balances via telephone and email
-   Allocate and reconcile cash receipts against customer accounts accurately
-   Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements with customers in arrears
-   Produce and distribute weekly aged debt reports to senior management
-   Monitor credit limits and recommend credit holds where appropriate
-   Build positive relationships with customers while maintaining firm credit control

Requirements

-   2+ years of credit control or accounts receivable experience
-   Confident and persistent negotiator with excellent communication skills
-   Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for reconciliations
-   Results-focused with a track record of reducing debtor days
-   Ability to work independently and manage a large ledger from home
