**Registered Nurse**

**Medical Surgical/Telemetry**

**$51/hr**

**Contract**

**Lubbock, TX**

**Days & Nights - 3x12**

Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care

Total Staffed Beds: 379

Level II Trauma Center

Float Required:Yes  
Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

-   Most admissions to our unit come from ED, ICU or PACU
-   Dedicated, qualified mentors available in order for new caregivers to have the best experience possible
-   We work closely with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy
-   Utilize interdisciplinary team approach
-   Our team partners with patients and families in order to achieve best outcomes
-   Epilepsy Monitoring Unit dedicated to serving and improving the care of epilepsy
-   Patients vary in neurosurgical etiologies /neurologic pathologies
-   High level of teamwork
-   Current Electronic Health Record– EPIC
-   Fast paced working environment

## Requirements

1 year experience

Active TX RN License

Current BLS (AHA) required
