## Description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused **CDL Class A Driver** to join our clients agricultural team. This position is responsible for transporting agricultural products using a **flatbed semi-truck** to customer locations and job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to safely secure and transport loads.

**Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A license with no automatic transmission restriction (must be able to operate a manual transmission).**

### Responsibilities

-   Safely operate a CDL Class A flatbed semi-truck
-   Deliver sod and related products to customers and job sites
-   Secure loads properly and ensure safe transportation
-   Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-   Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records
-   Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
-   Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
-   Assist with load verification and delivery documentation
-   Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly

### Qualifications

-   Valid CDL Class A license required

-   **No automatic transmission restriction** (must be able to operate a manual transmission)
-   Clean driving record and commitment to safety
-   Ability to meet DOT requirements
-   Previous flatbed experience preferred but not required
-   Strong work ethic and reliability
-   Good communication and customer service skills

### Preferred Experience

-   Flatbed hauling
-   Agricultural, landscaping, nursery, or sod industry experience
-   Load securement and delivery documentation
-   Operating manual transmission semi-trucks

### Physical Requirements

-   Ability to climb in and out of a truck cab safely
-   Ability to secure and inspect loads
-   Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-   Occasional lifting and physical activity as needed

## Requirements

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

-   Must have Class A Driver’s License with no restriction for standard transmission operation
-   Must have current DOT Medical Card
-   Must be at least 21 years of age
-   Must have **at least three years verifiable** CLASS A driving experience
-   Clean MVR
-   Must be registered on Clearing House
-   Must be physically able to strap and unstrap loads
-   Front-end loader experience preferred

**OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION**

Hours may vary day to day based on multiple factors

Regional travel - home 99% of the time with exception of rare out-of-town projects

Flatbed

Hourly Pay based on performance and experience

Full benefits after 60 days as direct hire (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, etc.)

401K matched at 4% after one year of employment as direct hire 

Long term employment for candidates that are a good fit 

Pay rate is based on experience but varies from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour to start
