**The Copthorne Hotel Newcastle** is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Senior Kitchen team and help support the team in delivering a high standard of food.

**What are we expecting from a Senior Chef de Partie?**

·       Supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food

·       Preparing all dishes as instructed by Head Chef and/or Senior Sous Chef

·       Support the Kitchen Senior Management team in planning menus within cost targets

·       Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)

·       Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently

·       Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements

**What we are looking for**

·       Proven track record as a Senior Chef de Partie/Chef de Partie within a quality hotel

·       Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team

·       High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls

·       Knowledge of computerised ordering system

·       Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy

·       The ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, weekend work is included
