### About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated **Jiu-Jitsu Instructor** to join our growing team as an **After School Enrichment Educator**.

This role focuses on leading engaging Jiu-Jitsu activities for elementary school students in an after-school setting. The ideal instructor is passionate about martial arts, enjoys working with children, and can create a safe, positive, and supportive environment where students can learn and build confidence through movement and discipline.

**We’re Actively Seeking Instructors with Jiu-Jitsu/Martial Arts Experience**

**Schedule: September 25 – November 13, 2026**

-   **Fridays**

-   **3rd Grade:** 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
-   **5th Grade:** 3:35 PM – 4:25 PM

**Compensation:** **$50/hour**

### In this role, you will:

-   Lead engaging and age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu activities for elementary school students
-   Teach foundational Jiu-Jitsu movements, techniques, and concepts in a fun and accessible way
-   Ensure student safety and well-being throughout each session
-   Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence, discipline, and teamwork
-   Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
-   Adapt activities and instruction to different ages and skill levels
-   Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
-   Prepare and organize equipment and activity materials
-   Keep the instructional space clean, organized, and safe

## Requirements

-   18+ years of age
-   Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training
-   Strong interpersonal and communication skills
