If you want to join a fast growing, VC backed, biotech startup, Nūmi is the place for you! ### What we are looking for We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intern in genetic engineering to join our innovative team. This intern will play a key role in the development and characterisation of cell lines. You will gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art startup laboratory while contributing to our mission of improving infant and specialised nutrition. ### Key responsibilities - 🧪Conducting Cell Culture Experiments: You will be learning and helping senior cell scientists on various cell culture experiments. - 🔬Using Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques: You will apply a range of cell and molecular biology techniques, such as RT-qPCR, immuno-histochemistry, Western blot and flow cytometry. - 👩🏻‍💻Documentation and Reporting: You will document experimental procedures, observations to ensure data integrity and traceability and prepare comprehensive reports that convey experimental findings, progress, and potential areas for improvement. - 📋 Support in admin and operational tasks: As a junior member in a small startup your responsibilities will also span lab management, lab duties and helping other team members and more specifically our lab manager Julie in day to day operations! ## Requirements - Pursuing an Engineering Degree in biological sciences, bioprocessing, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field - Ideally, you have previous experience in cell culture showcasing your ability to learn and adapt protocols effectively - Currently enrolled in a School/University in which the internship is part of the curriculum (has access to "Convention de Stage") - Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques such as transfection, RT-qPRC, flow cytometry and/or Western blot is advantageous - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental data effectively. - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being proactive and self-motivated - Genuine interest and passion for Nūmi's mission to revolutionise infant nutrition! ## Benefits 🚀 Unique opportunity to be part of an early-stage biotech company, shaping the future of infant nutrition 🏢 Access to top-quality facilities, research services, and infrastructure ⭐ Employee-first mentality, we prioritize the well-being of our team members, both in terms of their mental and physical health If you're excited about shaping the future of nutrition and want to contribute to a meaningful mission, send us your resume and a short motivation letter ! ### Values ☀️ **Positivity** : At Nūmi, we cultivate positivity every day.
