## Description

**Warehouse Attendant  
Location:** Brenham, TX 77833

**Pay:** $15.00-$17.00

**Start:** ASAP

**Schedule: 7:30-4:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday**

-   WILLING TO WORK 2-3 DAYS A WEEK
-   Able to operate forklift
-   Must pass back ground and drug screen

**Duties**

-   **Unloading & Inspection:** Unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming merchandise against purchase orders and packing slips.
-   **Quality Assurance:** Inspecting products for damage or defects and reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
-   **Stocking:** Sorting, labeling, and placing items into designated storage locations or warehouse racks.
-   **Tracking:** Updating WMS and performing regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

**Order Fulfillment & Shipping**

-   **Picking:** Locating specific items in the warehouse using a pick list or barcode scanner.
-   **Packing:** Safely boxing, labeling, and securing goods to pallets so they are prepared for transport.
-   **Loading:** Preparing outbound shipments for couriers and loading them onto delivery vehicles.

**Equipment Operation & Safety**

-   **Machinery Use:** Operating heavy machinery like [Forklifts](https://www.instawork.com/blog/warehouse-worker-job-description), pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
-   **Maintenance:** Performing basic daily checks on equipment and keeping [Warehouse Positions](https://www.extensiv.com/blog/warehouse-positions) clean and clear of hazards.
