Living in a Bubble (LIAB) is a fast-growing e-commerce brand specializing in premium campervan accessories. We operate in Australia and the United States across our DTC Shopify channels, serving a global community of van-lifers and adventurers with products that blend innovation, durability, and thoughtful design.

We are scaling fast, and the E-commerce Marketing Manager role is critical to our next stage of growth.

**The Role**

We are hiring a hands-on, operational E-commerce Marketing Manager to own and grow our DTC business across our Australian and US Shopify stores. This is a **player-coach** role — you will lead a small marketing team of four specialists while remaining deeply hands-on in strategy, diagnosis, creative briefing, reporting, and trading reviews. You will not run platform-level campaign builds (your media buyer owns that), but you will coach, review, and step in when needed.

This role reports directly to Fernando, Co-founder of LIAB.

**The Team You Will Manage**

You will lead a remote team of four marketing specialists, all based in the Philippines:

-   **Media Buyer** — owns paid media execution across Meta, Google, and TikTok
-   **Content Creator** — owns short-form content production, UGC, and creative output
-   **Marketing Coordinator** — owns campaign coordination, email/SMS execution, and project management
-   **A fourth specialist is being hired** alongside this role to round out the team

You will work closely with operations, logistics, and product teams across the broader business.

**Key Responsibilities**

_Strategy & Performance Ownership_

-   Own the overall marketing P&L for AU and US Shopify
-   Set and defend MER, CAC, blended ROAS, AOV, LTV, and revenue targets
-   Diagnose performance issues across the funnel and direct the team's response
-   Make data-driven decisions about budget allocation, channel mix, and growth priorities

_Team Leadership (the "Coach")_

-   Manage and develop four direct reports with weekly 1:1s, clear KPIs, and performance reviews
-   Set the team's weekly cadence: stand-ups, trading reviews, debriefs
-   Brief the media buyer on budget guardrails, kill/scale rules, and creative testing priorities
-   Brief the content creator on UGC angles, hooks, scenes, and deliverables
-   Hold the team accountable to deadlines, KPIs, and quality standards

_Hands-On Execution (the "Player")_

-   Personally write and review creative briefs, test plans, and trading reports
-   Pull and interpret data across Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads
-   Lead CRO improvements on product pages, checkout flow, and the mobile experience
-   Own product launch playbooks end-to-end — briefing, timing, channel sequencing, post-launch review
-   Improve email and SMS lifecycle flows in Klaviyo for retention, AOV, and LTV
-   Step into operational work during fires (creative fatigue, MER drops, stockouts, launches)

_Reporting & Communication_

-   Deliver monthly reports to the founder team: MER trends, CAC/LTV trends, brand search volume, creative learnings, budget vs. plan, and key wins/losses
-   Review and challenge the media buyer's weekly performance reports
-   Communicate directly and proactively with the founder team

**What You Will Be Measured On**

-   **Revenue growth** across AU and US Shopify
-   **Profitable scaling** — MER, blended ROAS, CAC efficiency
-   **Brand search volume** growth across branded, non-branded, and category-level demand
-   **Team performance and development** — KPIs hit, output quality, retention

## Requirements

-   4+ years as a Marketing Manager (or equivalent) in a DTC e-commerce environment selling physical products
-   Hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus experience (non-negotiable)
-   Direct experience marketing to the US market is strongly preferred
-   Experience handling different Shopify store locations is a plus
-   Experience with outdoor products is a plus
-   Proven in-house team management — full-time employees, not just freelancers or agencies
-   Comfortable managing a small team (3–6 people) while remaining hands-on
-   Fluent in Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads at the read/interpret/coach level
-   Strong understanding of MER, blended ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution profit
-   Experience with email and SMS lifecycle marketing, CRO, and creative testing systems
-   Business-fluent English, written and spoken
-   Available 9AM-5PM Brisbane time
