 We are seeking an experienced **Site Buyer** to support site procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site purchasing activities, executing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services to support ongoing operations.

This role will primarily be based in Saskatoon, with intermittent site travel required depending on business needs. The Schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8- 5.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Execute site purchasing activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement workflows.
-   Review and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure material availability and alignment with operational requirements.
-   Support procurement planning and coordination with site teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
-   Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments to ensure timely fulfillment.
-   Resolve procurement issues, including shortages, delays, and discrepancies.
-   Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures.
-   Collaborate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and project teams to understand material and service requirements.
-   Provide procurement support during site activities and travel to site locations as required.

## Requirements

-   5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, or supply chain roles within an industrial, mining, energy, or manufacturing environment.
-   Experience executing site purchasing processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
-   Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and inventory management.
-   Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP experience considered an asset.
-   Experience supporting site operations, maintenance, or project teams.
-   Strong vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
-   Ability to prioritize multiple procurement requirements in a fast-paced environment.
-   Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate purchasing documentation.
-   Ability and willingness to travel to site locations intermittently as required.
-   Experience supporting SAP implementations or ERP transitions considered an asset.
