## Description

Linah Group is seeking a **Head of Technology** to define and drive the company's technology strategy, lead digital transformation across all business sectors under the Group while enabling each business unit to innovate within its own market and manage a cross-functional IT organization spanning helpdesk support, software development, and enterprise systems (ERP).

This role will oversee Linah Group portfolio spanning Head office, agriculture sector, manufacturing sector, retail, and hospitality (the 5-star Sultan Gardens Resort in Sharm El Sheikh) and other subsidiaries.

**Group-Wide Technology Leadership**

-   Define and drive the overarching technology strategy and roadmap for Linah Group, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all sectors
-   Provide technology leadership and governance across Manufacturing, Head Office, Agriculture, and Hospitality, ensuring consistency in standards, security, and infrastructure while respecting each sector's specific needs
-   Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology organization, including sector-level technology leads for each business unit
-   Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and enterprise systems across all four sectors
-   Manage the Group-wide technology budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and timely reinvestment in upgrades across sectors
-   Establish technology policies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across the Group
-   Act as a key advisor to the executive leadership team and Board on technology strategy, risk, and investment decisions
-   Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all technology functions within the Group

**Manufacturing**

-   Ensure continuous technological upkeep and upgrade of production systems, ERP, and plant automation
-   Identify and implement technologies that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety

**Head Office**

-   Oversee core corporate IT systems, networks, and enterprise software supporting all business functions
-   Ensure Head Office systems remain current, secure, and integrated with sector-level platforms

**Agriculture**

-   Ensure continuous technological upkeep and upgrade of farming operations, including smart farming and agri-tech solutions
-   Evaluate and implement emerging agri-technology (IoT sensors, precision farming, automation) to improve yield and efficiency

**Hospitality (5-Star Hotel)**

-   Ensure continuous technological upkeep and upgrade of guest-facing and back-of-house systems, including property management systems and service platforms
-   Drive technology initiatives that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency in line with 5-star service standards

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information systems, programming or similar discipline
-   MBA is a plus
-   15+ years of progressive experience in IT/technology roles, including 4+ years in a senior leadership position (Head of IT, IT Director, CTO, or similar).
-   Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
-   Experience overseeing software development teams and modern development practices.
-   Experience managing IT helpdesk/support operations, including SLA management.
-   Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similarly operations-heavy, multi-site industry is a strong plus.
-   Hands-on experience managing ERP systems (implementation and/or optimization) — e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar.
-   Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into technology roadmaps.
-   Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
-   Working knowledge of software development lifecycles, methodologies, and modern architectures (cloud-native, APIs, integrations).
-   Strong ERP domain knowledge (finance, supply chain, inventory, production modules).
-   Excellent budget management and vendor negotiation skills.
-   Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills — able to influence non-technical executives and operational staff alike.
-   Change management experience, particularly in driving adoption of new tools among diverse, distributed teams (including field/farm-based staff).
