### **About the Role:**

We’re looking for a **highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper** with strong experience in **QuickBooks** and a deep understanding of **UK tax laws**, including **VAT, CIS, PAYE, and other HMRC requirements**.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of managing financial records with precision and compliance. This position starts as part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and business needs.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using **QuickBooks**.
-   Manage **accounts payable and receivable**, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
-   Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly.
-   Prepare and submit **VAT returns**, **CIS statements**, and **PAYE reports** in compliance with UK tax laws.
-   Support payroll processing and ensure all employee payments and deductions are accurate.
-   Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as needed.
-   Assist with end-of-year financials and liaise with accountants or auditors when necessary.
-   Ensure compliance with all HMRC deadlines and regulations.
-   Provide clear communication and financial insights to management.

## Requirements

-   Proven bookkeeping experience with a **strong focus on UK accounting practices**.

-   **Proficiency in QuickBooks** (Online or Desktop).
-   Solid understanding of **UK VAT, CIS, PAYE, and HMRC compliance**.
-   Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-   Excellent written and spoken English.
-   Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-   Part-time availability with flexibility to transition into full-time.
