**Position Overview**

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a meticulous and experienced **Accountant** to join our finance team in **Dubai, UAE**. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and support strategic financial planning. To align with our structural team requirements, we are looking for an **Indian or Pakistani national** currently residing in Dubai with a strong background in commercial or industrial accounting.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Financial Operations:** Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) entries, and perform monthly/annual closing activities.
-   **Compliance & Tax:** Prepare and submit **UAE VAT returns** in compliance with FTA regulations and ensure adherence to **IFRS**.
-   **Reporting:** Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts while assisting with external audits.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications & Selection Criteria**

-   **Education:** **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance**.
-   **Experience:** Minimum **5 years of progressive accounting experience** (UAE market experience preferred).
-   **Nationality & Residency:** **Indian or Pakistani national** currently **residing in Dubai, UAE**.
-   **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo), advanced Excel, and a deep understanding of local tax laws.
