## Description

**Responsibilities**

-   Plan, schedule, and deploy Linux OS patches and security updates.
-   Perform vulnerability remediation based on security scan reports.
-   Monitor patch compliance across Linux environments.
-   Coordinate patching activities with application and infrastructure teams.
-   Validate patch deployment and troubleshoot failures.
-   Prepare patching reports and compliance dashboards.
-   Support maintenance windows and change management activities.
-   Ensure systems comply with organizational security standards.

Required Skills

-   Experience in Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
-   Knowledge of patch management tools such as Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, or Spacewalk.
-   Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7.
-   Understanding of security patching, CVEs, and compliance requirements.
-   Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
-   Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.

Preferred Skills

-   Shell scripting.
-   Automation using Ansible.
-   Experience in enterprise data center environments.
-   Basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
