## Description

We're looking for talented Senior Animators to join our growing team based out of our brand new studio in Bangalore.

As a Senior Animator, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality animation, taking ownership of complex sequences and hero shots while helping drive the overall quality of the team's work. You'll collaborate closely with Leads and Supervisors to solve creative and technical challenges, improve workflows, and mentor fellow animators.

## Requirements

**Duties:**

-   Deliver high-complexity animation shots to set the standard for the team
-   Create nuanced, believable performances for characters and creatures
-   Submit work for daily review and act quickly on feedback
-   Work with rigging, CFX, and layout to resolve issues
-   Provide feedback and guidance to junior and mid animators
-   Help maintain continuity across shots and sequences
-   Contribute to animation look development for characters or creatures
-   Collaborate with the lead to refine animation workflows
-   Support lighting and CFX by ensuring animation is passed correctly downstream
-   Step in to progress priority or problem shots to unblock production

**Skills, attributes and experience:**

-   Expert in animation, with strong understanding of body mechanics and acting
-   Previous experience animating realistic creatures and characters in a professional studio environment
-   Ability to handle vehicle, creature, and character animation at a high level
-   Strong eye for motion, performance, and physical believability
-   Proactive communicator with problem-solving skills
-   Excellent communicator, sharing information clearly and actively listening
-   Strong time management, ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and escalate delays in a timely manner
-   Adaptable to change with the ability to stay focused and maintain a positive attitude
-   Driven to make things better with flexibility to change course when needed
-   Positive energy, focusing on results and having a positive impact on those around you
-   Self-awareness and an ability to resolve and diffuse problems treating others with kindness and respect
-   Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with others
-   7+ years in VFX or Animation field
