We are seeking a **Quality Officer / Senior Quality Officer** on a **Fixed Term Contract** basis. The level of appointment will depend on your skills, experience and demonstrated capability.

In this role, you will support the delivery of safe, effective and compliant products by maintaining high standards of quality assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across site operations. The Senior Quality Officer level includes additional responsibility for leading shift activities, coaching colleagues and providing technical quality expertise.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

**Quality Officer**

-   Perform quality assurance activities and review quality-related documentation.
-   Support the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring procedures and records remain compliant.
-   Conduct quality investigations, testing reviews and compliance activities.
-   Analyse quality data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
-   Support internal and external audits and inspection readiness.
-   Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements and site procedures.
-   Contribute to continuous improvement, change management and quality initiatives.

**Additional Responsibilities for Senior Quality Officer**

-   Lead and coordinate shift-based quality activities.
-   Provide technical guidance, coaching and on-the-job training for QA colleagues.
-   Support audit management, supplier quality activities and regulatory inspections.
-   Review and approve quality documentation, validation records and compliance reports.
-   Drive quality performance through KPI monitoring, trend analysis and risk management.
-   Escalate quality and compliance issues appropriately and support resolution activities.

**Skills & Experience**

**Quality Officer**

-   Experience working within a Quality Assurance, Quality Control or regulated manufacturing environment.
-   Understanding of GMP, quality systems and compliance requirements.
-   Ability to analyse data, investigate issues and maintain accurate documentation.
-   Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
-   A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

**Senior Quality Officer**

In addition to the above:

-   Demonstrable experience working independently within a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
-   Experience supporting audits, inspections and Quality Management Systems.
-   Experience coaching, supervising or providing technical guidance to colleagues.
-   Strong understanding of quality compliance, risk management, validation and regulatory expectations.
-   Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
