## Description

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a qualified and dynamic **Arabic Head of Department (HOD) for the KG Stage** at **Madinaty Integrated Language School for Academic Year 2026-2027**. This leadership position is based at GEMS Education Schools in Egypt and offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop the Arabic curriculum and teaching team at the KG level.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Lead, manage, and inspire the Arabic teaching team for the KG stage to deliver high-quality language education.
-   Develop, review, and enhance the Arabic curriculum and teaching resources to ensure alignment with educational standards and the developmental needs of KG students.
-   Coordinate and oversee lesson planning, assessment, and reporting processes within the department.
-   Mentor, support, and provide professional development opportunities for teaching staff.
-   Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes.
-   Collaborate with school leadership and other departments to foster a cohesive educational environment.
-   Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and contribute to maintaining a safe learning environment.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
-   Extensive experience teaching Arabic, with significant experience at the KG or early years level.
-   Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Head of Department or team leader.
-   Strong knowledge of Arabic language pedagogy and early childhood education principles.
-   Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators.
-   Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
-   Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
