## Description

We are looking for a skilled **Power BI Engineer** to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, transforming data into meaningful insights, and delivering high-quality **Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports** that support strategic decision-making.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements
-   Design, develop, and maintain **interactive Power BI dashboards and reports**
-   Build and manage **SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports**
-   Translate business needs into **data models and visualization solutions**
-   Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency
-   Work closely with data engineering teams for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
-   Implement best practices for **Power BI development and governance**
-   Manage Power BI service (workspace, datasets, dataflows, security)
-   Ensure proper documentation of reports, dashboards, and processes

### **Required Skills & Qualifications**

-   Strong experience in **Power BI Development** (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
-   Hands-on experience with **Power BI Platform Engineering** (deployment, governance, security)
-   Proficiency in **SSRS reporting**
-   Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation
-   Good understanding of **data warehousing concepts and ETL processes**
-   Experience working in **Data Engineering / Data & Analytics environments**
-   Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

### **Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience in **banking or financial services domain** (preferred)
-   Familiarity with **Azure Data Services** (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse is a plus)
-   Knowledge of data governance and reporting standards
