**Role Overview**

The Marketing Associate will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels. This role requires a proactive professional with a strong understanding of social media management, vendor coordination, and content production workflows. The ideal candidate brings experience from an agency or healthcare environment and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Digital Marketing & Social Media**

-   Manage and grow SSO Hospitals' presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
-   Plan, schedule, and publish content calendars aligned with hospital campaigns, doctor profiles and brand objectives.
-   Monitor platform performance metrics and generate regular reports with actionable insights.
-   Manage and optimise the hospital's and doctors’ Google My Business (GMB) profiles across all locations.

**Vendor & Agency Coordination**

-   Liaise with external vendors, digital agencies, print vendors, and media partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
-   Raise purchase orders, track approvals, and maintain vendor documentation in line with hospital procurement processes.
-   Evaluate vendor proposals and assist in negotiating deliverables and timelines.

**Content Production & Creative Collaboration**

-   Brief and collaborate with in-house graphic designers and video editors to develop compelling marketing materials.
-   Review creative outputs against brand guidelines and provide structured feedback for revisions.
-   Use Canva or similar design tools to create or adapt quick-turnaround creatives for digital and print use.
-   Support production of content such as brochures, banners, emailers, reels, and explainer videos.

**Research & Strategy Support**

-   Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in healthcare marketing.
-   Gather data on patient demographics, campaign performance, and digital benchmarks to support strategy development.
-   Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and marketing plans for internal stakeholders.

**Marketing Tools & Platforms**

-   Work across marketing tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, WhatsApp marketing platforms, and scheduling tools.
-   Maintain records of campaigns, ad spend, and performance data in shared trackers or CRM systems.
-   Support paid media campaigns in coordination with the digital team or agency partners.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
-   A postgraduate qualification or certifications in digital marketing (Google, Meta, HubSpot, etc.) will be an added advantage.

**Experience Required**

-   2–3 years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare organisation or a marketing/advertising agency handling healthcare or service-sector clients.
-   Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts at a brand or agency level.
-   Prior exposure to vendor management and coordinating with creative teams.
-   Experience working with Google My Business for multi-location businesses is strongly preferred.

**Skills & Competencies**

Must-Have

-   Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
-   Solid working knowledge of major social media platforms and their native analytics tools.
-   Hands-on experience with Google My Business setup, optimisation, and reporting.
-   Proficiency in Canva or equivalent design tools for creating marketing collateral.
-   Ability to brief and manage designers and video editors with clear, structured feedback.
-   Strong research skills with the ability to synthesise information into actionable insights.
-   Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Good to Have

-   Familiarity with paid media concepts (Meta Ads, Google Ads) — hands-on management not mandatory.
-   Basic understanding of SEO principles and website content management.
-   Experience with healthcare-specific communication, HIPAA/patient confidentiality norms, or regulated content environments.
-   Exposure to CRM or marketing automation platforms.
