## Description

**Location:** San Francisco, CA

**Work Model:** Hybrid

**Industry:** Application security software

**Compensation:** ~$150K base (up to ~$170K for more technical profiles)

### About the Company

Our partner is a venture-backed application security company founded by a team of red teamers and bug bounty hunters. They are a Y Combinator alum, recently closed a $12.5M seed round, and have earned notable industry recognition reserved for a handful of top security startups each year. Already at low-seven-figures ARR with multiple Fortune 500 customers, they are ramping toward a Series A. The team is small, fast-moving, transparent, and extremely hungry.

### The Opportunity

As a Go-to-Market Engineer, you will build the automated outbound systems that power the company's growth. This role sits between a technical engineer and an SDR, closer to the technical side but with strong sales instincts. You will write outbound copy, build and orchestrate automated workflows, and run campaigns, follow-ups, and event outreach in support of the sales and marketing functions. It is not a client-facing role, but you will need to understand the product and audience well enough to write messaging that lands.

This is an early, high-ownership seat with a clear path toward a head of growth or head of GTM role for someone who is creative, sales-oriented, and obsessively online.

### Responsibilities

- Build and maintain automated outbound workflows and systems
- Write outbound copy that resonates with a technical audience
- Run campaigns, follow-up sequences, and event-driven outreach
- Support the Account Executive and marketing functions
- Continuously experiment with new tools and creative outbound plays

### Requirements

- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on with modern GTM tooling such as Clay, n8n, Lemlist, and similar
- Able to vibe-code and build custom workflows to fill gaps
- Creative, sales-oriented, and genuinely plugged into online culture
- Bonus: exposure to or interest in the security space
